It’s that time of year when your sweet tooth is just a little bit sweeter, and your kids are eager to dress like this year’s most popular characters. Yes, Halloween is almost here, and this year The Falls at Westmall is making sure no one goes home without a costume, plenty of treats in their buckets and the most interesting funky accessories and makeup.

Breast Cancer Affects Everyone

Breast cancer awareness is an effort to raise awareness and decrease the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment. It ties together fear of cancer, hope for early identification and faith on successful treatment. The message of hope which women with breast cancer and anyone been through breast cancer portrays, compliments the reflection of past patients and their survival stories. This awareness encourages persons to lean to one another, through support and individual activities and campaigns. Some wear a pink ribbon for public support. Also there are collective political actions aimed at discovering causes of breast cancer, preventative guidelines and early detection methods.
The Falls at Westmall understands breast cancer affects everyone. Let’s lend a heart to all the friends and family that are down during this time.
A loved one’s illness can be stressful for you, too. To keep your fears from taking over:
- Try to keep a positive attitude.
- Accept that there are events you cannot control.
- Find some activities that help you relax. Take a walk, listen to music, or practice meditation or yoga.
- Exercise regularly. It’s a great way to fight tension, and it can help your body be better prepared to deal with stress.
- Rest and sleep. Your body needs time to recover from stressful events.
- Think about joining a support group for family and friends of people with breast cancer. It might help to talk about what you’re going through with other people who understand what it’s like

The back-to-school season is one overflowing with excitement and emotion, everyone is headed to a new semester whether it’s a new school, new class or new level of education!

Passport to Paradise!

Come to The Falls, grab a passport, and let’s take you on a journey to your dream destination.
Now until September 15th when you spend $100.00 or more at any store you receive your very own Passport. This passport will include the store’s stamps. You will then be required to obtain 3 more stamps by spending $25.00 or over at any 3 additional stores.
Once you’ve collected all your stamps and stapled all your receipts, fill out your information and drop off your passport in the entry box located East Wing. Weekly winners get the chance to win $3,500 in shopping sprees.
These weekly winners then get the chance to come back for a live treasure hunt (Saturday 29th September) where they can be the grand prize winner of $15,000.00 toward their Dream Destination.

- Participants must spend TT$25 or over at any additional 3 different stores at The Falls at Westmall and get their passport stamped with the stores’ stamps
