Carnival Tips! – Get it all at The Falls at Westmall

Trinidad and Tobago Carnival is right around the corner. It's the greatest show on earth.

Sunblock is your friend

            The sun is unpredictable and before you know it you are burnt.

Don’t get caught by the unexpected. The higher the SPF the better.

Comfy shoes are a must!

            You know you will be pounding the road for hours. Comfortable shoes are the only way to

survive.  You may even want to go the extra mile with gel insoles.

Protect your Eyes

            The Trinidad sun can be HOT. Be sure you a ready for a day on the road with glitter and sequence by protecting your eyes from the sun’s rays. A cool pair of shades will give you a chic look and enhance any outfit.

Know your drink

Get a personalized cup so it’s easy to identify your drink and limit the chances of it spilling or being meddled with.

Makeup

 It’s all about the make-up when it comes to Carnival. You’re going to want it to last all day long and not run! So a few must haves are primer, fix-it spray, waterproof mascara and long-lasting lip colour.

Accessorise it

            You can’t over do it when it comes to Carnival wear… or can you? Whatever the look, the right accessories can really add that WOW factor to any outfit.

Put together an essentials kit

            What are some of the key things you are likely to need? Grab a clutch and add some of your essentials to it. Panadol, cash, lip gloss, sunblock. Put these and a few other items you may need in a cute bag that’s easy to carry around.

Hydrate

            Hydrate your body, hydrate your skin. Apart from drinking lots of fluids, you’re going to want your skin to look and feel great. Night masks, moisturizer and the right foundation is going to be a must as you go from party to party day and night.

Refuel

            While the partying is in full swing, be sure your body is still getting the nutrients it needs. You might want to consider either a multivitamin or some energy shots as you go along.

Recover

            Trinidad & Tobago Carnival is no joke. So be prepared. The Falls at Westmall will be open on Ash Wednesday and has all you need to recover from the days of partying left behind.
